It is not only a rhetorical device in neo-realism, but also an aesthetic principle and the art of life. This essay tries to analyze the irony art in the new realistic novels based on the novel “One Man and Feather”, a novella by Liu Zhenyun, a famous neo-realist writer in China in the mid-1980s.
