Clinical Pathway refers to the most appropriate, sequential, and time-based care plan for doctors, nurses, and other personnel for certain diagnoses and operations. The hospital uses the system’s operation to reduce the individual’s error, so that the client can Get the best care quality. As a new hospital management model, the clinical pathway can reasonably and effectively use limited medical resources, improve the quality of medical care, improve the level of medical services, and increase patient satisfaction. However, at the current stage of the actual implementation process, it will encounter various resistances from hospital management, medical staff concepts and society. This set of articles in this issue not only explains the whole process of the development of the clinical pathway and the effect evaluation, but also analyzes in detail the difficulties of the clinical pathway in the implementation process. For those managers who wish to push the clinical path, it is a long-term worthwhile consideration to effectively avoid contradictions in the current system and explore a set of clinical path management methods that are in line with the actual conditions of our hospitals.
