为解决“三农”中面临的长期问题和突出的现实问题。近年来,国务院以及教育部、农业部、劳动和社会保障部等中央部委召开了多次会议,部署大力发展农村基础教育和职业教育,为此,职业教育为“三农”服务的大方向也进一步明确了:一是为农业现代化培养素质较高的新型农民,为提高农业综合生产能力提供科技服务,使务农的农民增收致富;二是为农民转移到非农产业从事第二、三产业,提供职业教育和培训以及相关服务。各类职业学校对此有很高的热情,尤其是各类农业类院校,它们积极探索各种形式,借助产学研结合途径以更好地实现为“三农”服务的办学功能和目标。
