Beijing No. 1 satellite is the first microsatellite for earth observation in China and also the fifth star of “International Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC)”, which was successfully launched on October 27, 2005 in Russia. Design life of 5 years. After the successful launch of Beijing No. 1 satellites, both China and Britain started on-orbit monitoring and commissioning of satellites. Based on the analysis of the optical remote sensing imaging model and the characteristics of in-orbit test of typical international satellites and Beijing No. 1 satellite, the content, index system and technical method of on-orbit testing of Beijing No. 1 mini-satellite are proposed. The results show that Beijing No. 1 small satellite has good performance.
