用橡胶改性的聚苯乙烯(HIPS),其产量到七十年代初已超过未改性的聚苯乙烯。HIPS所以能有很快的发展,主要是采用本体法(或本体悬浮法)的工艺路线的结果。特别是采用了剪切形式的搅拌并选择了合适的搅拌速率,成功地控制了橡胶相的粒径和包藏,在恰当的分子量和分子量分布的情况下,就得到性能良好的产品。 ABS的生产工艺一般是乳液法。随着工艺的发展,到1964年,本体法(或本体悬浮法)也应用于ABS的合成。其优点是产品的橡胶用量低,杂质残余少,加工性能好等,而抗冲性能并不逊于含胶量高的乳液法。
Rubber-modified polystyrene (HIPS) has surpassed unmodified polystyrene by the early seventies. HIPS so there can be rapid development, mainly using ontology method (or ontology suspension method) process route results. In particular, shear mixing was used and a suitable stirring rate was chosen to successfully control the particle size and packing of the rubbery phase, yielding a good product at the right molecular weight and molecular weight distribution. ABS production process is generally emulsion method. With the development of technology, by 1964, ontology (or bulk suspension) also applied to the synthesis of ABS. The advantage is the product of low amount of rubber, less residual impurities, processing performance, etc., and the impact resistance is not inferior to latex with high latex method.
