Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Danshen injection combined with phentolamine on acute bronchopneumonia in children. Methods Ninety-six children with acute bronchial pneumonia admitted in our hospital from March 2014 to April 2015 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group (n = 48). The control group was given phentolamine intravenously on the basis of routine antibiotic treatment. The experimental group was given Salviae Miltiorrhizae injection on the basis of the control group. Observe and compare the two groups of children’s symptoms and pulmonary rales disappear time, hospital stay and lung function improvement. Measurement data using t test, P <0.05 for the difference was statistically significant. Results The time of symptom disappearance, the disappearance of pulmonary rales and hospital stay in the experimental group were (2.23 ± 0.76), (4.39 ± 1.28) and (5.32 ± 1.53) days, respectively, which were significantly lower than those in the control group (4.51 ± 1.38, 8.64 ± 2.35) and (9.41 ± 2.58) d, respectively (all P <0.05). The PEF, FEV1 and FVC in the experimental group were (84.61 ± 23.87)%, (88.99 ± 20.00)% and (85.92 ± 19.00)%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (75.53 ± 20.07% and 80.80 ± 20.01% (78.02 ± 19.10)%, the difference was statistically significant (all P <0.05). Conclusion Salvia miltiorrhiza injection combined with phentolamine in children with acute bronchial pneumonia can effectively alleviate the symptoms of children and promote the rehabilitation of children.
