The right bank of the Amu River is an important oil and gas accumulation area in the Amu Basin. Its structure is multi-temporal and complex in fracture types. The study shows that the basement strata in the study area are dominated by normal fades and obviously control the sedimentary thickness of the strata. Sub-salt faults evolve into reverse faults with a large number of traps. Strata on the salt to strike-slip fracture-based, both the development of a positive flower-like and negative flower-like structure of the plane has both left-lateral strike-slip, and right-lateral strike-slip fracture. On the right bank of the Amu River, the hydrocarbon accumulation modes are mainly along the fault accumulation mode and the same-level reservoir formation mode. Based on this, an exploration idea is proposed to find traps along the depression and the Shun fault.
