电热丝烧断或老化后需重新盘制是工厂里经常碰到的事。大功率炉子用的铁铬铝合金直径较粗(φ6~10mm),一般工厂都是事先在车床上把线材密绕成弹簧圈备用。为适应炉子尺寸的不同,盘制前先要把密绕的电阻圈拉伸到一定的长度。一般的施工方法是将量准阻值(或折算成长度)后截取的一段电阻圈一头夹台虎钳上,几人拉另一头到一定长度。这种方法费力而又危险,万一虎钳一端脱开便会将人弹伤。
