In the 1920s, Mather Design introduced a large number of inspirational posters, a unique and effective way to promote workplaces and was seen as the most interesting visual expression of American idealism and optimism. Based on the analysis of the theme, style and sales channel of motivational posters, this article explores the unique role of motivational posters in enhancing the production efficiency and cultivating good moral behavior of workers.
