一、亨特法的概述连续铸造的概念出现在一百多年前,早在1846年Henery Bessemer就曾以专利形式介绍了冷却辊式连续铸造原理。把液态金属从上面送入两个铸辊的间隙内。但是,当铸造辊旋转时把液态金属刚刚形成的硬壳弄断,所以一直没有研制成功。从1930年开始美、苏都制成了试验性设备,试铸钢和有色金属,研究工作一直持续到40年代,仍无好效果。到1955年才由美国亨特工程公司(Hunter EngineeringCo)制成铝工业上用的连续铸造设备,铸出宽965毫米的板带,并且获得了满意的效果。到1964年铸造的板带宽度达1260毫米,到1970年又扩大到1680毫米。
First, the overview of Hunt method The concept of continuous casting appeared more than 100 years ago, as early as 1846, Henery Bessemer has patented the introduction of the cooling roll continuous casting principle. The liquid metal is fed into the gap between two casting rolls from above. However, the hard shell just formed by the liquid metal is broken when the casting roll is rotated, so no successful development has been made. Since 1930, the United States and the Soviet Union have made experimental equipment, test cast steel and non-ferrous metals. The research work lasted until the 1940s and still had no effect. It was only by the 1955’s that Hunter EngineeringCo made continuous casting equipment for the aluminum industry that the 965 mm wide strip was cast and the results were satisfactory. By 1964, the width of the cast strip was 1260 mm and expanded to 1,680 mm by 1970.
