四川各县皆产梨。与柑桔、苹果相比,梨是四川栽培最为普遍的一大树种。柑桔在等温线13℃以北已属少见,而梨在等温线6℃附近尚广为栽培。四川金川、简阳、苍溪等县以产梨著称,原产各该县的梨树品种,一县常多达数十种。全省梨的地方品种则以千计。野生梨树资源尤为丰富。在伟大领袖和导师毛主席革命路线指引下,解放以来许多单位对四川梨树野生资源和栽培品种进行过不少调查研究,取得了许多成绩,但因四川幅员辽阔,工作量大,梨树资源和优良品种迄未查清。为了紧跟英明领袖华主席抓纲治国的战略决策,向四个现代化的宏伟目标迈进,面对四川主要果树之一的梨树品种工作,如何取优汰劣,提出良种区划及合理布局的意
