对用等温等离子体化学气相沉积法生产大尺寸的光纤予制件已进行了基本的研究。用这个方法所得到的沉积效率比通常的应用氢氧焰工艺的改进的化学气相沉积法所得到的沉积速率大约高五倍左右,并且光纤长达3.5公里,在1,06微米波长下典型的损耗是6.2分贝/公里。对用此法所得到的沉积速率,效率和折射率分布也作了叙述。
A basic study has been conducted on the production of large-size optical fiber preforms using isothermal plasma chemical vapor deposition. The deposition efficiency achieved by this method is about five times higher than that of conventional chemical vapor deposition using the oxyhydrogen flame process and the fiber length is 3.5 km typical at 1,06 micron wavelength Loss is 6.2 dB / km.
