In 2002 and 2003, two ancient tombs were discovered at Dajuesi Village of Guide Town in Changqing District, Jinan City. Tomb No. 1 is built of bricks and stones. It consists of a passage, an anterior room and a rear one, and yielded four pictorial stones, glazed pottery, copper coins and a stone table. Tomb No. 2 is also a brick-and-stone structure and consists of a ramping passage, a corridor, an eastern side room and a western one, an anteroom, and a back room. Its funeral objects include jade, stone, bronze, pottery objects and stones bearing designs and signs. The tomb shape and grave goods suggest that the tombs date from the late Eastern Han period.
