【Objective】 The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of long-acting organic compound fertilizer and biological intervention on the biological characteristics and quality of cabbage and the basic physical and chemical properties of the soil, in order to provide a theoretical basis for screening better soil fertilizers. 【Method】 Pot experiment was conducted to study the fresh weight, plant height, contents of vitamin C, protein, soluble sugar and nitrite in vegetables under different treatment conditions by using the vegetables as materials. The contents of nitrogen , Phosphorus, potassium, organic matter content and pH value. 【Result】 The results showed that the use of long-acting organic compound fertilizer and biological intervention could effectively increase the biomass and plant height of the vegetables. Among them, the treatment with low amount of long-term organic compound fertilizer was the best and the difference with the chemical fertilizer treatment was not significant. Improve the quality of vegetables, increase the content of vitamin C, protein and soluble sugar, reduce the content of nitrite, among which the treatment with low amount of long-acting organic compound fertilizer is the most obvious, followed by the treatment with biological intervention; But the quality is relatively poor. At the same time, it can also increase the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and organic matter in the soil and maintain the soil pH value. However, the treatment of chemical fertilizer increased the content of nitrogen and potassium, the content of phosphorus and organic matter and the pH in the soil. [Conclusion] The use of long-term organic compound fertilizer and biological intervention can not only provide nutrients necessary for crop growth, improve quality, but also improve the soil.
