我的老家在农村,我经常回乡下看望年迈的老父亲。我发现现在的乡村基本上都是留守的老人和孩子,青壮年都到城里打工去了,有些人还干脆留在了城里。这里面包括我的邻居和亲戚。孩子们一般初中毕业就随父母打工了,很少有人继续读高中、考大学。在人人追求物质生活的大环境下,亲情、友情以及对知识的追求变得越来越淡漠,似乎人们的心里只有钱,再装不下其他东西了。而对于那些身处乡村的孩子来说,成长就变得不那么简单。 My hometown is in the countryside.
