Dentist
Dentist： “Please stop howling1. I haven’t even touched your tooth yet.”
Patient： “I know， but you are standing on my foot！”
牙医
牙医：“请不要再叫了。我还没碰你的牙呢。”
病人：“我知道，可你正踩着我的脚呀！”
Mother： Tom got 95 marks in the exam， what about you， Jack？
Son： Mine is just a point more than his.
Mother： Oh， good boy. What on earth is it？
Son： 9.5 marks.
多少分？
母亲：汤姆考试考了95分，杰克，你呢？
儿子：我就比他多一点。
母亲：哦，好孩子，到底多少分啊？
儿子：9.5分。
Billy and his brother Davy were in the same class. The teacher asked them to write a composition2 “My Mother”. Davy wrote one and Billy just copied it.
The next day the teacher asked Billy， “How is it that your composition is exactly the same with Davy’s？”
“We have the same mother， don’t we？” replied Billy.
同一个母亲
比利和他的哥哥戴维在同一个班级。老师要求他们写一篇作文“我的妈妈”。戴维写了一篇，比利按照它照抄了下来。
第二天老师问比利：“为什么你的作文和戴维的是完全一样的？”
“我们有同一个母亲，不是吗？”比利回答说。
