360 degree evaluation has been widely used by many enterprises in the world for performance appraisal, internal talent selection and leadership development. However, the problems that have emerged in the past decades have made it necessary to rethink them. Analyzing the theoretical foundations of a 360-degree assessment, clarifying and summarizing the basic assumptions and common problems of a 360-degree assessment method will allow us to use the 360-degree assessment more appropriately.
