华东沿海地区,为我国东部淮河、长江、钱塘江等下游冲积平原区,东濒黄海、东海。长期来,我国地质、地理工作者,对这一地区的地貌第四纪地质、考古等方面作了不少工作。但是对于地面以下第四纪沉积物及其与古气候变化方面的关系分析研究的还不够。为了对我国东部第四纪地层与古气候的研究,特别是发展工农业生产的需要,笔者在江苏、上海、浙江等省市水文地质队及同济大学的帮助下,对华东沿海部分地区第四纪地层及古气候方面做了点初步的工作。
East China coastal areas, for the eastern part of China’s Huaihe River, the Yangtze River, Qiantang River and other downstream alluvial plains, east Yellow Sea, East China Sea. For a long time, geologists and geographers in our country have done a lot of work on the geomorphology, archeology and other aspects of geomorphology in this area. However, the study on the relationship between Quaternary sediments below the surface and paleoclimatic changes is not enough. In order to study the Quaternary stratigraphy and palaeoclimate in eastern China, especially the need of industrial and agricultural production, the author, with the help of the hydrogeological teams of Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang provinces and Tongji University, Geological formation and palaeoclimate done some preliminary work.
