For the first time, senior executives from Time Warner, AOL, IBM, Bertelsmann, and other media and technology companies talked about how to set up e-commerce rules around the world. They hope this move will not only reduce non-security factors in e-commerce, but will also prevent the government from interfering in unreasonably. This gathering marks the founding of a global business dialogue organization based on e-commerce. The organization will include industry representatives from the financial services, consumer products and manufacturing divisions, which will be made up of nine separate working groups each tasked with formulating different policies.
