2009年底,由中国华南师范大学文学院、日本早稻田大学演剧博物馆联合主办的“清末民初新潮演剧”国际学术研讨会在广州成功举行。来自中国、日本、韩国、新加坡的四十多位学者围绕清末民初的“文明新戏”、“改良戏曲”、“学生演剧”等种种现象进行了深入探讨。其中,关于“清末民初新潮演剧”的概念为学界首次提出,并引起了与会者的关注。我刊认为有进一步界定、探讨的价值,故请袁国兴等六位学者就此概念撰文笔谈,同时刊发两篇会议论文,以飨读者。
At the end of 2009, the International Symposium on Trendy Drama at the End of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, jointly sponsored by the Liberal Arts School of South China Normal University and the Drama Museum of Japan’s Waseda University, was successfully held in Guangzhou. More than 40 scholars from China, Japan, South Korea and Singapore conducted in-depth discussions on various phenomena such as “new drama of civilization”, “improved drama” and “student drama” at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. Among them, the concept of “New Trendy Drama in Late Qing and Early Republic of China” was first proposed by the academic circles and attracted the attentions of participants. I think there is a further definition of the value of the discussion, so please Yuan Guoxing six scholars on the concept of writing and writing, at the same time published two conference papers to readers.
