红杧一号,是我场从古巴品种太太杧和云南象牙杧果天然杂交后代中选育出来的一个杧果新品种。1970年,我们采摘嫁接于云南象牙杧果树上的一分枝太太杧种籽播种后,实生苗于1973年结果。果实比母本果大,形似云南象牙杧;果色、果咀、叶形、树形又与太太杧相仿。经观察鉴定,确为“太太杧×象牙杧”的天然杂种。现定名为“红杧一号”。该品种具有果形大,风味佳,果色美,裂果少,较稳产等优点。 Hongjian 1 is a new variety of mango that we breed from the natural crosses between the Cuban breed Lao Tai and Yunnan Ivory Goose.
