回顾了近年来综合自然地理学教学实习基地的建设过程．实习基地建设在综合自然地理学改革中发挥了巨大的作用，它一方面能够有效地激发学生的学习兴趣，提高学生运用知识解决实际问题的能力；另一方面，教师在建设基地的过程中，在深入剖析实习基地的基础上，形成了一批较高水平的科研成果；再一方面，基地建设也使教师的教学能够更好地理论联系实际、生动活泼，学生易于接收．因而，围绕实习基地建设，形成了综合自然地理学教学与科研相互促进的良性关系．
