张文中,1962年7月1日出生。1983年毕业于南开大学数学系,1985年回母校攻读管理学硕士学位,1990年获中科院系统研究所系统工程学博士学位,1993年在美国斯坦福大学完成博士后研究回国创业。1994年创办北京物美商业集团。现任北京物美商业集团董事长、全国政协委员、全国工商联常委、中国物流与采购联合会副会长、中国连锁经营协会副会长、北京市工商联副会长、北京市人大代表、卡斯特经济评价中心主任、中国人民大学客座教授。2005年被评为“推动中国商业进程1985～2005商界精英”20人之一。
Zhang Wenzhong, born July 1, 1962. He graduated from the Mathematics Department of Nankai University in 1983, returned to his alma mater to study Master’s Degree in Management in 1985, and received his Ph.D. degree in Systems Engineering from the Institute of Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1990. In 1993, he completed postdoctoral research at Stanford University in the United States. In 1994 founded Beijing Wumart Commercial Group. Incumbent Beijing Wumart chairman, member of the CPPCC National Committee, standing member of the Standing Committee of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, vice president of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, vice president of China Chain Store & Franchise Association, vice president of Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, Beijing Municipal People’s Congress, Kas Special economic evaluation center director, visiting professor of Renmin University of China. 2005 was named “one of the 20” business elite "to promote China’s business process 1985 ~ 2005.
