作为一种修辞现象和语言现象,隐喻普遍存在,但它更是人类的深层认知机制的体现。所谓隐喻理解是把头脑接受的语言信息与已有概念建立语义联系的认知过程。对于一名外语学习者而言,隐喻能力是一种基本语言能力的体现。基于此,通过对非英语专业学生自主学习情况的检测,以期探究学生隐喻能力的发展规律,为今后的教学实践提供依据。
As a rhetorical phenomenon and linguistic phenomenon, metaphor is ubiquitous, but it is also the manifestation of human’s deep cognitive mechanism. Metaphorical understanding is the cognitive process of establishing a semantic relationship between the language information accepted by the mind and existing concepts. For a foreign language learner, metaphorical ability is a manifestation of basic language ability. Based on this, through the examination of autonomous learning of non-English majors, in order to explore the law of development of students’ metaphorical ability and provide the basis for future teaching practice.
