In order to improve feed efficiency and reduce nitrogen and phosphorus excretion were studied. Four test diets were used, feeds 1 and 2 were commercial carp feeds, and feeds 3 and 4 contained high levels of available phosphorus. Feeds 1, 2, 3, 4 contained 0.50, 0.36, 0.62, and 6.36% of available phosphorus, respectively, with total phosphorus content of 1.52% and 1.99%.
