杨玉冰,四川省乐山市五通桥人,中国乡土艺术大师,根书法艺术创始人。杨玉冰出生书香门第,自幼练习传统书法,从20世纪80年代初开始对我国传统根艺进行研究与创作。在掌握传统根艺创作技艺的基础上,将我国“农耕文化”、“传统吉祥物”、“民俗风情”等人们喜闻乐见的题材及传统笔墨书法融入根艺创作中,形成了一门极具中国特色的根书法艺术。其根书作品曾荣获中国根艺界最高奖——刘开渠根艺金牌奖及艺术界众多奖项;分别被 Yang Yuping, Leshan City, Sichuan Province Wutongqiao people, Chinese native artist, founder of the root of calligraphy.
