黄原胶,又名汉生胶,是一种清黄色至淡棕色粉末,稍带臭味,其易溶于冷或热水中,溶液呈中性。黄原胶是国外70年代发展起来的一种新型生物发酵化工产品。其制法是将含有葡萄糖和无机盐的培养基调整至pH6.0~7.0,加入1%~5%的野油菜黄单胞菌接种体,培养50~100小时,杀菌后加入异丙醇使其沉淀,再用异丙醇精制后干燥,粉碎而得成品。
Xanthan gum, also known as xanthan gum, is a clear yellow to light brown powder with a slight odor. It is easily soluble in cold or hot water and the solution is neutral.
