楼梯间本应是重要的逃生通道,但在震害中,楼梯间倒塌破坏的情况较多,往往先于主体结构破坏,并未在自然灾害面前发挥其应有的功能。因此,应采取各种措施增强楼梯间的抗震能力,比如改进传统的计算方法对楼梯进行抗震设计、合理设置构造柱和圈梁等构造措施以及尽量避免将楼梯设置在房屋尽端及转角等。
