短期内,首次进入MSCI新兴市场指数并不必然推动本地股票市场上涨,更多地取决于本地市场对外开放的程度以及国际市场的预期新兴市场纳入MSCI的实践中国台湾。1996年9月3日,我国台湾市场首次按照50%的比例加入MSCI新兴市场指数;2000年6月1日,这一比例从50%调升至65%;2000年12月1日,该比例从65%调升至80%;2005年5月,该比例上调至100%,即完全纳入MSCI新兴市场指数。
