The underground seismic study started at the “Volga Scholskaya” coal mine at “Volkuta Coal” in 1978. The experimental results show that mine seismology can be applied under the conditions of the Puthalai coalfield Exploration method Since 1981, such work has been carried out by a special geophysical area established by the coal prospecting team of the Pechora coal field in the Coal Bureau of the Soviet Union.
