本刊记者肖平报导:卫星通信以其工作距离长、可靠性高、成本低见长。目前,它已承担了70％以上国际间的通信业务,世界上有160多个国家和地区都开展了卫星通信业务。从1972年开始,我国也开始发展卫星通信事业,通过国际通信卫星,我国与40多个国家和地区建立了2000多条直达通信电路。我国曾先后发射了5颗通信卫星,并自行开发了卫星电视单收站2万多个。 1991年5月28～31日在南京召开了由中国通信学会(CIC)和国际通信卫星组织(Intelsat)主办的“1991环球卫
