林则徐在担任江苏巡抚并两次署两江总督期间,除进行地方治理,开展防灾、抗灾、赈灾并兴修水利之外,还三次监临江南乡试。虽然办理的只是阶段性的事务,但林则徐厉行改革,大力整顿科场秩序,受到广泛好评。在以往的研究中,对于林则徐的这段经历集中进行探讨的论述尚不多见,本文试图从一个新的侧面对此加以梳理和分析。 During his tenure as governor of Jiangsu and twice as Governor-General of the Liangjiang River, Lin Zexu, in addition to conducting local governance, conducting disaster prevention, disaster relief, disaster relief and water conservancy construction, also conducted three interviews with Jiangnan Township.
