附子一药,始载于《本经》。附子为附于乌头(母根)而生的子根,故名附子。因此乌头为母根,附子为子根。天雄为乌头无附子的独根。药店供应的乌头与附子,实为一物(编者按:仅在上海及个别地区如此。),仅因炮制方法稍有不同而分为乌头、附子两药。 Aconite, a drug, was first published in the “Ben”.
