近些年来,独立学院的发展日渐成熟完善,独立学院要在各类高校队伍中站稳脚跟,教学质量的提高必不可少。英语的教学效果一直受到社会各界的普遍质疑,如何有效地提高英语教学水平,使得学生能够真正全面掌握这门语言是语言学界普遍关心的问题。大学英语作为高校必修的一门科目,作用尤其突出,大学英语教学改革迫在眉睫。笔者通过对自己所教班级进行问卷调查以发现当前独立学院学生学习大学英语的基本心理诉求,提出更为当前学生所接受的教学模式即多模态教学模式。
In recent years, the development of independent colleges has matured and become more and more mature. Independent colleges should gain a firm foothold in various ranks of colleges and universities and the improvement of teaching quality is essential. The teaching effect of English has been widely questioned by all walks of life. How to effectively improve the teaching level of English so that students can fully grasp the language is a common concern of linguistics. College English as a compulsory subject of colleges and universities, the role is particularly prominent, college English teaching reform is imminent. Through the questionnaire survey on the classes I teach, the author finds out the basic psychological demands of independent college students when they learn college English, and proposes a multi-modal teaching model that is more accepted by current students.
