Objective: To investigate the effect of tertiary rehabilitation on motor function and quality of life in patients with acute stroke. Methods: Eighty stroke patients were randomly divided into two groups (n = 40). All patients were given routine medical treatment. The rehabilitation group was also given standard tertiary rehabilitation. At the time of enrollment, motor function (FMA) and quality of life were assessed at 1, 3, and 6 months after onset. Results: After 1, 3, and 6 months after onset, the motor function score rehabilitation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.001). There was no significant difference between the two groups after the end of 1 month after the onset of disease. At the end of 6 months, the rehabilitation group was significantly better than the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: Three-level rehabilitation therapy is of great significance to improve motor function and quality of life in patients with stroke.
