Human adenovirus infections often lead to acute respiratory diseases, conjunctivitis, gastroenteritis and even severe pneumonia. At present, there is no specific anti-adenylate drug in clinic. Establishing an animal model that supports adenovirus infection / pathogenicity is crucial for studying adenovirus pathogenic mechanisms and developing anti-adenovirus strategies. At present, some adenovirus receptor has not been elucidated, and the common clinical B virus can not infect rodents, affecting the study of adenovirus infection. In addition, the human adenovirus has the host-specific species specificity and can not effectively replicate and proliferate in animal cells infected with other species due to the existence of a host-range-limiting factor, which seriously hinders the pathogenic mechanism of adenovirus in vivo the study. This review summarizes the progress of human adenovirus infection receptor, host range restriction factor and infection model in recent years, in order to provide a reference for the research of new adenovirus infection / pathogenic animal model.
