大藤峡水利枢纽船闸上、下游最大水头差为37.60m,每次最大输水量17.5万m3.最大流量545m3/s,如此规模的单级船闸国内属最大,国际上也罕见。船闸采用底部纵支廊道立交分流二区段出水盖板消能输水系统,可获得更好的水力指标,是一种新的有发展前景的分流型式.试验表明:在设计水头下5分钟启门,充、泄水时间为10、11.4分钟,相应最大流量为545.2、469.5m3/s.在各种情况下闸室及引航道停泊条件良好;减压模型试验证明了利用突扩体门楣和门后低压区通气来解决阀门段的空化问题是先进的、行之有效的。
