The “International CFC and BFC (Halon) Academic Conference”, which was commissioned by the Chinese Chemical Society and Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held in Shanghai from August 8 to August 10, 1994. The theme of the conference was to discuss the latest advances in theoretical research and production applications of CFCs and BFCs and their alternatives. Representatives of DuPont USA presented the latest progress of the catalytic reaction and catalyst characteristics for the production of CFC substitutes. Credit Suisse Company introduced the characteristics and properties of HCFC-141b for blowing agents. British company ICI introduced the British CFC and HCFC alternatives research progress, and the company to KLEA60, KLEA61, KLEA66 were replaced
