肯尼亚安札裂谷盆地与苏丹穆格莱德裂谷盆地具有相似的地质条件,中石油已在穆格莱德裂谷盆地油气勘探中获得突破。地质条件类比之下,安札裂谷盆地也应有所发现。通过对肯尼亚曼德拉台盆和安札裂谷盆地形成演化和构造特征的分析,结合重、磁、地震及钻井资料进行综合评价,重点应用老地震资料重新寻找突破点。安札裂谷盆地下白垩统上段地震相与中国渤海湾盆地古近系沙河街组三段生油层地震相具有相似性,而古生界曼德拉台盆与塔里木台盆也具有近似的地震相,推测这2个盆地具有较好的烃源岩条件。因此,通过对老资料的综合分析与评价,可能在肯尼亚取得油气勘探的新突破。
The Andhra rift basin in Kenya has similar geological conditions with the Sultan Muglaf rift basin, and PetroChina has made a breakthrough in the exploration of oil and gas in the Muglad rift basin. Under analogy of geological conditions, the Anyza rift basin should also be discovered. Based on the analysis of evolution and tectonic features of Mandela basin and Nozhang rift basin in Kenya, combined with the data of gravity, magnetism, earthquake and drilling, we make a comprehensive evaluation of old seismic data and find out the breakthrough point again. The seismic phases of the Lower Cretaceous in the Ansazi rift basin have similarities with the seismic facies of the third member of the Shahejie Formation in the Paleogene in the Bohai Bay basin, while the Mandela and the Tarim Basin in the Paleozoic also have similar earthquakes It is speculated that the two basins have good source rock conditions. Therefore, a new breakthrough in oil and gas exploration may be obtained in Kenya through a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of old data.
