1971年3月英国农业、水产和粮食部出版了B.Wilkinson主编的《野外土壤工作手册》专集。这是一本继美国农业部1951年出版的《土壤调查手册》和英国土壤调查所1960年出版的《野外工作手册》之后编成的七十年代新专集,由于考虑到其中大部分内容对我国现阶段开展土壤普查仍有直接的参考价值,故特将该专集的正文部分译编成四个独立篇。第一篇《景观特征的重要性》,主要论述了与土壤鉴定有关的景观特征;第二篇《图幅的利用》,重点说明土壤鉴定中可能采用的各种图幅的使用价值;第三篇《土壤剖面特征》,着重论述了可在野外观察到和在室内鉴定出的若干主要的土壤剖面特征及其相互之间的发生学联系;第四篇《土宜篇》,重点述叙了某些农作物、蔬菜、牧草和果树等的土宜。以上四篇本刊将分别刊登,下面登载的是第一、二篇。——编者 In March 1971, the British Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food published the “Field Soil Workbook” edited by B. Wilkinson. This is a new collection of the seventies following the Manual of Soil Investigation published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1951 and the Fieldwork Handbook published by the British Soil Survey in 1960. At this stage there is still a direct reference value for carrying out soil census. Therefore, the text of the album is compiled into four separate articles.
