上海市宝山县吴淞乡种植草莓已有60多年历史;1987年全乡生产草莓已发展到600亩,平均亩产值在850～1000元,高产地块达1500～1800元;全乡草莓经济收入达40～50万元。1986年12月,市委领导宋日昌同志给我乡题写了:“草莓之乡”以资鼓励。1987年8月上海市科委通过评审,将吴淞乡草莓种植发展计划列入上海市“星火计划”。一、草莓病毒病的调查
