聂荣臻从红军时期起就十分重视戏剧在革命宣传中的作用。1933年在中央苏区,他就亲自参加了《庐山之雪》、《杀上庐山》等话剧的演出,还亲自编写了反映南昌起义的四幕话剧《南昌起义》。抗战爆发后,聂荣臻依靠戏剧工作者,充分发挥他们的作用,使戏剧工作成为当时晋察冀边区最活跃的文化生活之一。在聂荣臻的关心和大力支持下,戏剧以其独特的宣传形式,发挥着战斗的作用和充分
Since the Red Army, Nie Rongzhen attached great importance to the role of drama in revolutionary propaganda.
