This article presents a software system for performing a beat analysis of the electrocardiogram of a heart transplant patient. The system uses an accurate two-step algorithm for R-wave positioning, which extracts or eliminates pacing pulses from the signal. The authors calculated the Fourier coefficients for each of the three orthogonal body-surface leads and the two intracavitary leads on a beat-by-turn basis based on the variable nature of the single heartbeat interval, turning the distribution of the variable fundamental frequency and its waves into a solid Frequency, width of 1Hz, and 60 to 120 heart beat cycle averaging power spectrum. In addition, windowed QRS complexes and T-waves are computed on an average beat-by-beat basis
