转脂蛋白(Lipid transfer proteins,LTPs)是广泛存在于植物中的一类小分子蛋白,在植物生长发育及逆境应答中起着十分重要的作用。通过RT-PCR方法从玉米中克隆1个与拟南芥LTP3基因同源的全长cDNA,命名为ZmLTP3。推测ZmLTP3蛋白含有123个氨基酸,分子量为12.5 kDa,等电点为9.38。半定量RT-PCR分析表明,ZmLTP3可以被甘露醇、高盐和水杨酸(SA)诱导。在不同组织中ZmLTP3的表达模式不同,在子房中的表达量最高。结果表明,ZmLTP3可能在植物逆境反应及生殖生育过程中起多重作用。
Lipid transfer proteins (LTPs) are a kind of small-molecule proteins that exist widely in plants and play an important role in plant growth and development and adversity response. A full-length cDNA homologous to Arabidopsis LTP3 gene was cloned from maize by RT-PCR and named ZmLTP3. Speculated ZmLTP3 protein contains 123 amino acids, a molecular weight of 12.5 kDa, isoelectric point of 9.38. Semi-quantitative RT-PCR analysis showed that ZmLTP3 can be induced by mannitol, high salt and salicylic acid (SA). In different tissues, the expression pattern of ZmLTP3 is different, and it is the highest expression in ovary. The results showed that ZmLTP3 may play multiple roles in plant stress response and reproductive development.
