The present invention provides an infrared human detector which has two video cameras which detect human by observing the same scene. The two cameras each focus the scene on their respective cell array. One camera array is sensitive to 0.8μm ~ 1.4μm light, while the other camera array is sensitive to 1.4μm-2.2μm light.
