Everything in the world exists in the form of a combination of yin and yang. In the course of conducting the research of folk paper-cutting, I was not only admired for the beautiful style of paper-cut art, but also attracted by the folklore concept of being intangible and attached to the appearance of tangible and elephant. I found that this kind of tangible and realistic folk art style of paper-cut is based on the immaterial and intangible traditional culture of thought, consciousness, concept, belief and taste. The traditional cultural concept is exhibited through the realistic paper-cut style. Paper-cut shape is a positive, auspicious paper-cut contains the cultural connotations of yin. The two negative yin and yang, interdependence, mutual infiltration, the mutual embodiment of each other, constitute a major theme of folk paper-cut in peace.
