晚清新政是二十世纪初中国社会的第一次重大变革,也是清政府在其统治的最后十年进行的改革。新政的内容涉及政治、经济、教育、文化和军事等许多方面,对这些领域均有不同程度的影响,并促使中国从传统的封建走向近代化。虽然最后晚清新政以失败告终,没能挽救清政府的统治,但它在客观上有利于中国政治社会的转型,在中国社会的发展历史上影响深远。 The new policy of late Qing Dynasty was the first major change in Chinese society in the early twentieth century and also the reform carried out by the Qing government during the last decade of its rule. The content of the New Deal deals with many aspects such as politics, economy, education, culture and military. It affects these areas in varying degrees and urges China to modernize from the traditional feudal era. Although the late Qing government ended in failure and failed to save the Qing government’s rule, it objectively favored the transformation of China’s political society and profoundly affected the history of Chinese society.
