Objective To investigate the possible mechanism of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and vascular endothelial growth factor (CVEGF-C) in the development and progression of cervical cancer. Methods 16 cases of normal cervix and 65 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) were detected by PCR. Among them, 20 cases were CINⅠ, 24 cases were CINⅡ, 21 cases were CINⅢ, 26 cases were cervical invasive carcinoma Group), and the immunohistochemical SABC method was used to detect the expression of VEGF-C. Results VEGF-C was expressed in both CIN and cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues, and the expression of VEGF-C was gradually increased with the enhancement of the lesion degree, but not in the normal cervical tissue. HR-HPV is significantly associated with CIN and cervical cancer. The expression of VEGF-C in CIN and cervical cancer tissues was significantly associated with HR-HPV infection. Conclusion The expression of VEGF-C protein is significantly associated with HR-HPV infection, which may be an early predictor of cervical cancer angiogenesis.
