目前,大学英语教学存在诸多弊端,英语教学偏向于提高英语考试成绩,而忽视了学生对英语实践和运用。英语教学始终没有摆脱传统教育方式的束缚,人们对英语教学的认识还停留在传统的教育思想上。在传统的教育思想中,大多数人持的观点都是:教师就是课堂的主体,是课堂的核心,学生的任务是服从教师的课堂安排,是完全的被动接受者。本论文旨在探索运用构建主义学习理论建立以学生为课堂主体、确立学生在英语课堂教学中的主体地位的新型课堂教学模式,提高教师的英语课堂教学水平、提高学生英语课堂学习效率,提升英语的课堂教学效果。
At present, there are many drawbacks in college English teaching. English teaching tends to improve English test scores and neglects students’ practice and application of English. English teaching has not got rid of the shackles of the traditional education, people’s understanding of English teaching still stays in the traditional educational thoughts. In the traditional educational thought, most people hold the viewpoints that teachers are the main body of the classroom and the core of the classroom. The task of the students is to obey the teacher’s classroom arrangement and be completely passive recipients. The purpose of this thesis is to explore the use of constructivist learning theory to establish a new classroom teaching model in which students are the main body of the classroom and to establish the dominant position of students in English classroom teaching. Teachers should improve their English classroom teaching and learning efficiency and English Classroom teaching effect.
