Objective To investigate the relationship between anti-A (B) IgG subclass and neonatal ABO hemolytic disease. Methods A total of 34 pregnant women with neonatal ABO hemolytic disease admitted to our hospital from January 2010 to May 2012 and 35 healthy children with O type Rh positive blood test during the same period were enrolled in this study. Serum anti-A (B) IgG subclass content of the measurement experiment, and the measurement results were compared. Results The levels of anti-A (B) IgG subclasses in the hemolytic group were significantly higher than those in the healthy group (P <0.05). Conclusion The study found that there is a very close relationship between the content of anti-A (B) IgG subclasses and the occurrence of neonatal ABO hemolytic disease and deserves clinical attention.
